Amisulpride

Amisulpride is an atypical antipsychotic used to treat psychosis in Schizophrenia and Bipolar disorder.
Amisulpride is a Serotonin Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor.

They range from 200mg tablets and 400mg Film-Coated tablets.

Insomnia
Agitation
Movement Disorder
Feeling Anxious
Constipation
Dry Mouth
Weight Gain

e) contraindications
Not to be used for someone with Concomitant Protacltin dependent tumpurs such as Prolactinoma and Breast Cancer.
Lactation.
Before children hit the puberty age.
Not to be used with patients who have hypersensitivity to Amisulpride.

Someone who is breast feeding
Family history of heart problems
Elderly with Dementia
Those who have tumors that is sensitive to hormones
Those who have history of abusing alcohol as it increases the effect of alcohol
g) education requirements for patients/families/carers
Make sure the patient is not breast feeding or pregnant
If patient has liver kidney problems
If patients has breathing problems
Not to miss any doses of medication
Use sunscreen as the medication makes the skin more sensitive to the sunlight.
If patient is having any dental treatment as the medication may interfere with anesthetic received.
If patient is diabetic as it may affect the level of sugars in the blood
